Educational materials for teachers

The Association forestière Québec métropolitain has developed, in cooperation with the Canadian Forest Service of Natural Resources Canada, educational material entitled for high school teachers:

Teaching handbook Making connections with the forest

This handbook establishes a link between the Forest Ecosystems of Canada Web site and the Quebec curriculum for Science and Technology, Geography (1st cycle), Canadian Geography and General Biology (2nd cycle).

Educational projects

A series of eight educational projects about Canada’s forest ecosystems was developed, as well as turnkey educational aids for teachers. The purpose of these activities is to inform, educate and raise awareness among high school students about the processes and phenomena that affect the ecosystems, and the issues related to the sensible use of our forest resources.
